As Treasurer of KARA, Katrina brings her expertise in community engagement and nonprofit leadership to help guide the organization’s financial strategy and sustainability. With a background in the nonprofit sector and a passion for the arts, Katrina is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the community. Stephanie serves as the Board Secretary for KARA, bringing her legal expertise and dedication to supporting families and communities. With a background as a Crown Prosecutor and her current role as a legal advisor to the judiciary, Stephanie deeply values the importance of supportive family programming in strengthening communities. Serving on KARA’s Board allows her to witness firsthand the incredible impact the organization has, and she is inspired by the staff’s dedication to making a meaningful difference.

Luke is driven by a passion for community service and supporting families. With a background in engineering and Earth Energy & Resource Leadership, Luke brings a strategic mindset and leadership to KARA’s board, ensuring the organization’s programs and services continue to thrive. His commitment to strengthening families, supporting youth, and enhancing public safety is at the heart of his volunteer work. 

With a heart for empowering individuals and fostering inclusive communities, Cindy has dedicated her career to helping newcomers build strong foundations and connecting people through meaningful engagement. Her work in both settlement counseling and marketing has allowed her to drive initiatives that create lasting value for both individuals and organizations. Amanda is passionate about making a tangible impact in the community, and she helps drive meaningful change through her leadership and strategic vision at KARA.
