Practicum opportunities

At KARA Family Resource Centre, we are proud to support the next generation of professionals by offering meaningful practicum opportunities in a supportive, real-world environment.

Over the years, we have partnered with post-secondary institutions such as NorQuest College, Grant MacEwan University, and the University of Calgary, welcoming students from a wide range of academic programs.

Our practicum students come from disciplines including:

● Social Work

● Early Childhood Education

● Child and Youth Work

● And more!

Through hands-on experience, our practicum students contribute to impactful programs, and grow their confidence as future professionals. They work alongside our dedicated team, building their confidence and competence in a supportive and dynamic environment.
