Program Description:
This program is designed to build confidence and support the transition to school by offering a variety of developmentally appropriate activities. If you and your little one are experiencing separation anxiety this is a great starting point. Parents are required to stay onsite in our coffee lounge.
Program Outcomes:
Confidence: Helping children gain confidence is best done through caring relationships, positive affirmations, and ongoing activities.
Resilience: Children will build a growth mindset approach and tackle those tasks that challenge them.
Emotional Awareness: Children will recognize, understand, and name their emotions and draw from their toolbox to proceed with empathy for themselves and those around them.
Independence: Opportunities to develop independence are immensely important for building a sense of self and self-esteem — not to mention frustration tolerance and perseverance.
