Books in the Park with Amity House

Babies learn language through social literacy experiences, which is parents interacting with them using books. These experiences also serve to associate books with parental affection, attention, and approval. Families are welcome to join us in the park to read a new story, sing songs, learn baby sign language, and connect with each other. Every family will receive a copy of each week’s storybook, the song of the day, a baby sign language sheet, and can apply for the Edmonton Public Library’s “Ready, Set, Go” program.
